Val co-founded RMW Financial Group in January 2019 and in January of 2022, he co-founded RMW Advisory Group. Before co-founding RMW Financial Group and RMW Advisory Group, Val was a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed for over 13 years. While working at Waddell & Reed, Val qualified for the Crest Award, which was among one of the highest honors for financial advisors affiliated with the company symbolizing performance and excellence. He assists individuals, families and businesses with financial planning, wealth management, as well as retirement, tax and estate planning.
Val holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. He graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis.
Val is passionate about helping clients define their financial goals, and then pursuing those goals with the various resources available to him. He is effectively supported by a team of administrative and investment product specialists whose teamwork and professionalism help him build long-term relationships with his growing client base and provide excellent customer service.
His hobbies include golf, tennis, hiking, snow shoeing, spending time with his family and walking his dog.
